Harry Grant Dismisses Rumors of Tension with Penrith Players

Melbourne Storm’s Harry Grant has addressed and shut down rumors of discord with players from the Penrith Panthers, including Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo. Recent speculation arose after their aggressive on-field encounters, particularly in a match that saw notable physical clashes.

In a press conference, Grant made it clear that the rumors were unfounded. He explained that while rugby league is a high-stakes, physical game, there are no lingering issues off the field. “We’re professionals, and what happens in the heat of the moment stays there. There’s no animosity between me and the Penrith guys,” Grant said.

The rumors intensified after the Storm’s clash with the Panthers, where Grant and Cleary had a notable exchange. Despite the speculation, both athletes have since assured fans that it was all part of the game. Grant also expressed admiration for Penrith’s players, such as Cleary, Yeo, and James Fisher-Harris, recognizing their efforts this season.

Grant wrapped up by emphasizing the mutual respect between the teams and dismissing any talk of personal conflicts. Both the Storm and the Panthers remain focused on their campaigns for the finals, with the off-field gossip proving to be irrelevant noise.
