Vucevic to Bulls: Stop Believing in the Boogeyman!

Nikola Vucevic isn’t holding back when it comes to his thoughts on the Bulls’ struggles and he’s making it clear that fear and excuses have no place on this team.

The veteran center recently challenged his teammates to shake off what he sees as self-imposed mental roadblocks, insisting that no invisible force is keeping the Bulls from success. Instead, he believes the team needs to take full ownership of its performance.

“There’s no boogeyman out there stopping us,” Vucevic said. “We have to stop acting like there’s some outside force controlling our fate. It’s all on us.”

The Bulls have had their share of ups and downs this season, often falling short in key moments. Vucevic, though, is convinced the issue isn’t about matchups or bad luck  it’s about confidence and accountability.

“We show teams too much respect sometimes, and we get in our own heads,” he added. “It’s time to stop fearing the moment and start playing to win.”

Known for his steady leadership and straight talk, Vucevic has become a louder voice as Chicago looks to right the ship. Whether his challenge will inspire a shift remains to be seen, but his message is loud and clear: the only thing haunting the Bulls is their own mindset.
