Sports commentator Colin Cowherd recently shared his thoughts on how the Pittsburgh Steelers might struggle if the Cleveland Browns were to acquire Shedeur Sanders, the standout quarterback from Colorado and son of NFL legend Deion Sanders.
On his show, Cowherd applauded Sanders’ college success, citing his composure, precision, and leadership abilities. He suggested that Cleveland might view Sanders as a promising option to replace Deshaun Watson, whose future with the team remains uncertain. Adding Sanders to the roster could rejuvenate the Browns’ offense and make them a stronger contender in the AFC North.
Such a development, Cowherd argued, would create significant challenges for the Steelers. With Sanders at the helm in Cleveland, Pittsburgh would have to face yet another skilled quarterback in an already stacked division. Cowherd pointed out that the AFC North, with stars like Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson, is quickly becoming one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL.
While Sanders is currently focused on his college career, the prospect of him joining Cleveland has sparked speculation. If it happens, the move could alter the division’s dynamics, potentially putting teams like the Steelers at a disadvantage.
